Mohansic School
The 45,600 square foot roof was originally constructed in 1961
and was replaced in 1987 with a twenty-year type roof. In the
past few years, the district has:
- Authorized repairs of $8,275, November 2000
- Authorized repairs of $13,100, October 2001
- Experienced serious flooding in the Library, 2003
- Emergency Roofing Patch of $20,000, January 2004
- Closed two classroom, January 2004

Buckets have been used at Mohansic School to catch water leaks.
2 Classrooms have had to been closed because of the leakage.

The Brookside roof is a patchwork of repairs made over the last
several years.

Brookside School
Excluding the old annex area, the 46,700 square foot roof was
originally constructed in 1954 and was replaced in 1987 with a
roof of similar construction to the Mohansic roof. At Brookside,
the district has:
- Authorized repairs of $5,030, April 2001
- Authorized repair of $1,100, January 2002
- Taken measures to control episodic flooding in the cafeteria,
gymnasium, main hallway and office

Crompond School
The 49,300 square foot roof was installed in 1987-88. It is a
ten-year type of roof and we are advised it is beginning to show
signs of age with periodic leaking reported.
