    MESMS Career Center

    These web pages will enable students to:

  •         Explore over 450 careers using an online subscription database
  •         Understand the importance and function of federal and local government documents and forms necessary for the world of work
  •         Conduct Internet research on careers and educational opportunities
  •         Develop cover letters, resumes and references
  •         Gain knowledge regarding interviewing techniques, questions and answers, and dressing for success

  • Apply the scientific method to breeding seahorses.
  • Research habitat and life cycle of seahorses
  • Use research information to create a life sustaining classroom environment for seahorses
  • Discover how human influence has threatened the existence of the seahorse
  • Explore ways to become a junior conservationist to advocate on behalf of the seahorses
  • Use email to consult with experts
  • Explain why this project was created and what it means to them
  • Present their research using PowerPoint, Publisher and FrontPage
