to the Crompond Elementary School Library Media Center.
The education of the students is our most important role.
Each student will be taught how to use
the Library Media Center as a research and information source.
Not only will the students learn how to research information, but they
will be able to use the information they attain as well as evaluate it.
The skills the students learn will be valuable to them for the rest of
their lives.
The Library Media Center is an active
classroom where the students cover lessons that are designed in conjunction with
the teachers, and it also provides the students with reading materials both for
class and for their own personal enjoyment.
The Crompond Library Media Center
provides books on all subjects and reading levels to encourage the students to
read. Once the students find
something they enjoy reading, their love of reading will stay with them forever.
