Library Media Specialist - Mark Creiner

My name is Mark Creiner. I am the librarian at Crompond Library Media Center. I have been a librarian for over ten years. I was in charge of several different libraries in New York City, before becoming a teacher.

I have always loved books, and love sharing my enjoyment of them. Once you get a child to love a book, it will stay with them always, and they will always adore books. Some of my favorite books are The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster; Dune by Frank Herbert; The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

Library Assistant - Mary Walsh

Mary Walsh is the Library Assistant at Crompond Library Media Center. She has been working there for close to 15 years. She is still waiting for her favorite book to be written.
